Background

In March 2020, a delegation of Westminster members traveled to the US-Mexico Border. During our immersion experience with Frontera de Cristo, a PC-USA border ministry, we were introduced to Café Justo and enjoyed more than a few cups of delicious coffee! Café Justo is a grower-owned coffee cooperative based in southern Chiapas Mexico, born from a partnership between Frontera de Cristo, growers in Chiapas, and the loving hearts of many volunteers who marketed by word-of-mouth. Café Justo was formed to address the poverty and migration from Mexico to the U.S.A. This pure, organic coffee is grown, harvested, and marketed in the spirit of justice. The Cooperative and Fair Trade Plus prices have allowed farmers to remain on their lands and support their families rather than migrate and leave the country that they love. Now is your chance to be part of the solution to the immigration crisis by buying Café Justo coffee.
