CHRIS AND BIGFOOT

Most people don’t believe in Bigfoot, that large, hairy creature of legend and folklore believed to inhabit forests in the United States. But my son Chris did! He was 57 years old when he suddenly died leaving a big hole in my heart and soul. A few months after his death, I went to my first pottery class and wondered what I should make. Then it came to me – something for my grandsons who had lost their Dad, and something that would have meaning for them … AHA! Bigfoot. So I made the candle holders with symbols that would bring a piece of their Dad to them when they burned candles, reminding them of his light in their lives.
