Songwriters Guidelines at Westminster Presbyterian Church

The Joy in Learning Songwriters Song Circle is a ministry of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Since it is a ministry, the main objective is to form a caring and grace-filled atmosphere where friendships and community are built.

Wednesdays and Thursdays
10:00 a.m. - Noon
Park in the North parking lot, and enter the Café by the blue outdoor umbrellas, not the portico. Please ring the doorbell.

Since the Song Circle is made up of experienced songwriters, we ask that you read the guidelines and sign the form below before meeting with us to see if it a good fit for all. 

Guidelines: 

• One of the greatest gifts we give each other as performers is our undivided attention. We come to listen to each other as well as play.  We understand that sometimes messages are important. Should you need to use your phone, please step outside the room.

• Since our slots are limited to 8 people, we ask that you commit to the full two hours.  It never feels good when someone comes late or leaves early.

• If you plan on attending a Circle, please be sure to sign up using the Sign p Genius link we have provided via email.  The slots are limited to 8 people to help maintain the integrity of the Circle. If Thursday is full, sign up for Wednesday!

• If you need to cancel your slot, please text Debra before removing your name from the list. If you are not able to delete your name from the Signup Genius, text Beth.
