We are excited to reintroduce Joy in Learning’s Care Notes, now with a new name.
Since January, this dedicated group has been busy spreading encouragement one handwritten note at a time. Over the last four months, they have penned approximately 170 cards to a wide range of recipients, including participants in Rudy Kalis' prison ministry, WPC members in care facilities, WPC 8th-grade confirmands and their mentors, Hands on Mission Cockrill Elementary reading volunteers, WPC new members, and WPC handbell members. They've also reached out to WPC families experiencing some of life's most sacred moments, including births, baptisms, and times of sympathy.
A handwritten note is a simple but powerful reminder that someone is seen, valued, and loved. That is the heart of the Care Notes.
Join them on the first Tuesday of each month at 9:00 AM in the WPC Cafe to send a little extra kindness into the world - one note at a time. All materials are provided. All are welcome.
