Pottery 101: Foundation of Hand-building with Clay
Wednesdays
January 7, 14, 21
9:15-11:45 a.m.
$30.00 (includes all supplies)

Leaders: Nancy Quillman, Joan Coode and Sally Gracey
Limit: 8 participants

A special 3-day session for those with little to no experience with clay. All projects will be hand-built with slabs of clay without a pottery wheel. Think of the slab as a pie crust. It’s very easy to cut and “glue” together pieces!

Day 1: Create a plate
Day 2: Create a bowl
Day 3: Glaze

Pottery 102: Mugs and/or Cylinder Projects
This class is geared toward those who have taken Pottery 101 or have some experience with the basics of hand-building with clay.

Tuesdays
January 6, 13, 20
9:15 to 11:45 a.m.
$30.00 (includes all supplies)

Limit: 8 participants
Leaders: Cass Fagan and Janice Mann

This class is focused on creating cylinders from slabs of clay. Create a mug, vase, or container. Think of a pie crust type of slab wrapped around different sized cylinders. Then learn how to add handles and/or cut out forms!
