My plan is to spend a week practicing light, blurry backgrounds with watered down colors and gentle, indistinct shapes.

The next week will focus on palette knife technique, making helpful reference canvases with labeled markings.

Then the painters will brainstorm ideas for a landscape using these combined techniques. Weeks 3-6 will be devoted to making a final painting.
