Get to Know our Writing Leaders!

Billy Humphrey is a published writer with three novels in the Western genre available on Amazon and other sites. He is currently at work on two more novels, one a continuation of his Wright family saga and the other featuring a strong female protagonist. He is a Nashville native and a graduate of Peabody College. Billy has found the Westminster Cafe to be the perfect setting to write; he can be found there working away each Tuesday and Wednesday. He is retired from a large publishing company.

Sandra Plant has written extensively for magazines and newspapers, starting with the Oak Ridger newspaper as a teenager in her hometown of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She has won several awards for her writing, including the Hearst Foundation, Writer's Digest and the Kentucky Press Association.  Her work has been published in two anthologies. She is currently at work on a novel based on a family secret that is now safe to share.  She holds a degree in journalism from the University of Tennessee and is retired from Bechtel National Inc.
